About The Legacy Golf & Tennis Club

The Legacy is a private golf club located in the PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Golf is the cornerstone of this club with 27 holes of golf.

Our Championship Course was designed by renowned golf course architect George Fazio and offers five sets of tees to accommodate every skill level.

The course plays to 7,023 yards from the Championship Tees and has hosted both U.S. Open and U.S. Senior Open Qualifiers since 2010.

Our Par 3 Fazio Executive Course was designed by Jim Fazio and has holes ranging from 61 yards to 156 yards. The Executive Course provides golfers with the unique opportunity to play 18 holes of golf in under 2 hours.

The Championship Course and the Executive Course both have Tif Eagle Bermuda greens and Celebration Bermuda grass fairways, approaches, collars, and tees. We are recognized as having one of the most finely manicured courses in Florida, and whether you play the Championship Course or the Executive Course, the conditions are superior.

Club History

George Fazio’s reputation as a master of the game was earned on the PGA Tour in the 30’s and 40’s.

He paid his dues to the sport at some of the nation’s finest courses, including famed Pine Valley in New Jersey.

George Fazio’s enduring gift to the game lies at the heart of Port St. Lucie’s fabled PGA Village.

George and nephew, Jim, in 1984 created the stunning accomplishment of design originally named “The Reserve Golf and Country Club.”

The course and facilities underwent a multimillion dollar renovation and expansion, and is widely regarded as one of the finest golf venues in Florida.

In a deserved tribute, the club was renamed “The Legacy” upon George’s passing to commemorate both the man’s passion for golf and this exceptional example of course design.
